The Shrine Ruins is an area first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. Once a place where people prayed for protection, this shrine has fallen into decay and is now haunted by the roars of monsters, day and night. However, it still maintains its holy nature and exudes a mysterious aura. It features large cliffs and hills for the Hunter to ascend using the Wirebug. Dotted around the area are the ruins of an old Shrine that hide secrets within their crumbling and mossy walls.
